Georgetown University Special Collections Aeon Request System

The Booth Family Center for Special Collections is currently open to Georgetown-affiliated researchers and is now accepting limited appointments for external researchers who wish to use our collections. For anyone looking to set up an appointment, please contact one of the following: speccoll@georgetown.edu for materials in the Booth Family Center for Special Collections, woodstocktheology@georgetown.edu for materials in the Woodstock Theological Library, or bioethics@georgetown.edu for materials in the Bioethics Research Library. At this time, researchers are only able to submit reproduction requests through this system.

For more information about the University’s COVID-19 policies surrounding access to campus, please visit the FAQ page. Researchers will be required to follow all University policies while on campus.

Welcome to the Georgetown University Special Collections request system. Please use this system to request materials in the Booth Family Center for Special Collections, the Woodstock Theological Library, and the Bioethics Research Library. Researchers are required to create an Aeon account in order to request access to materials from the collections or to request reproductions of materials. Once your account is created, you can submit a request directly through your Aeon account.

Appointments made through this system require at least two days notice. For same-day or next-day appointments, please contact Special Collections staff to make arrangements. Please be aware that access to certain collections requires advance notice as many of our collections are stored offsite.

For more information about how to use Aeon, see the FAQ page.
